This WebQuest is designed to provide an opportunity for students to build their historical thinking skills by using maps, photographs, interactive websites, personal accounts, documentary videos, and many other research materials to evaluate content. This project through the activities outlined encourages students to build not only collaboration and teamwork skills, but also strong analytical and higher-level critical thinking skills by forcing students to think and talk about their thinking to really synthesize the content. It is an opportunity that allows students to expand their knowledge while reviewing for the SOLs.
